Changelog

What's new in Lynxe.

Every release, every fix, every small thing we ship to make studying feel less like a slog.

Feature

Add context while recording

Lectures don't happen in a vacuum. You've got slides, the textbook page, that diagram the teacher drew on the board, your own scribbled notes. Now Lynxe knows about all of it.

While recording, tap Add context (or hit A) to drop in URLs, paste text, or attach files. PDFs, DOCX, images, your friend's voice memo of the bit you missed — everything feeds the note generator alongside the transcript.

  • URL fetching with HTTPS-only safety and SSRF defence
  • PDF, DOCX, TXT, MD, image, JSON file uploads — up to 20 MB
  • Drag-and-drop drop zone plus paste-from-clipboard input
  • Running character counter so you know what's been picked up

The recording pill now expands with a context affordance below it.
ImprovementFix

Q feels alive.

Replies stream token-by-token instead of landing as a wall of text. The typing indicator shows up the moment you hit send, and Q's suggested follow-ups stagger in as soon as the message lands.

  • Streaming responses with cursor caret while typing
  • Suggested action chips with subtle staggered entrance
  • ICS upload banner only appears once you've sent a message
  • Fix: composer textarea no longer jumps height on focus
Feature

Revise sessions.

Tell Lynxe what you're worried about and it builds you a revision guide. Pulls from your notes, your syllabus context, and what you've actually been quizzed on.

  • Natural-language composer with subject and lecture filters
  • Generated guides use the same block system as notes
  • Sessions persist as cards in your library — pick up where you left off
FeatureImprovement

40+ block types in notes.

Notes are no longer flat prose. The renderer now handles structured content the way your subjects actually demand it.

  • Charts: bar, line, pie, scatter, radar, area
  • Cornell retrieval: predict, cloze, retrieval, teachback, quiz
  • Subject-specific: worked solutions, source analysis, case studies, matrix
  • Interactive: flashcards, quiz scoring posted to your account
Beta launch

Hello, HSC.

Lynxe is now open to NSW Year 11 and 12 students. The beta covers the core loop: record a lecture, get AI-generated notes, ask Q anything, and review with retrieval prompts.

Free during beta. No credit card. Just bring a school email.
